Simple/basic mp3 editing software?

This is a pretty stupid question, but can anyone recommend me a free, easy-to-use program to crop mp3 files? I just want to cut a couple of minutes off the end of some songs, preferably in the least confusing way possible.

Audacity. I think you have to download lame_enc.dll from somewhere on the internet to let it re-compile the cropped song, but it's all free and it's a really easy program to use.
