Thoughts about it?

I like the menu, nice choice of music and the whole transition from live-action to comic book snippets throughout the background.

I was very disappointed with the special feature. (yes special feature.)

With a movie like this, You'd expect atleast a two disc dvd...
But no, they give us a dvd with an 8 MINUTE "making of" :|.
There's two languages for subtitles, English and Spanish.

The picture quality and sound quality for everything was top-notch.
But if you want the DVD for just the movie itself, go for it.

If you want it for the special features, I'd wait for a different DVD to come out... Like a special edition or something.

Thats' really not very special. You can buy all the graphic novels individually (I have one, ordered it from amazon actually) and with this set you're just getting four items in a cardboard sleeve. HMV do these kind of deals too- they simply get a shiny cardboard case that probably costs less and call it an "HMV exclusive".

Personally, I think it would be better to just wait for a 2 disc edition, as there's bound to be one. In the meantime, you can buy the books individually. Buying it all in a bundle only saved you about £4 anyway.

They're probably going to release an Unrated or Director's Cut version.

It'll include an extensive making of... deleted scenes... character bios... commentary... etc.

Or it should include all that.
If you wanna watch the movie again, rent it atleast.
This version's not worth the buy.

I watch all of that content In fact, I get annoyed when there's not enough extras on a DVD; that's the reason why I buy them, after all.

I want atleast two dvds packed with special features whenever I buy a movie on dvd.

I mean what other purpose is there for a DVD if you're not going to add bonus content?

LOTR was great for putting losts of extras on their DVDs. Having atleast a 45 min documentary of "the making of" is my expectations for "special features" on DVDs.

The reall DVDs will include all three stories the way they were meant to be seen: as seperate movies, completely uncut from the comic books.

Yeah LOTR had good commmentary, although only some of the people like the Merry and Pippen were in the same room, that's why they were the best to listen to.

I have one of those kind of DVDs for The Big Lebowski. They're lame. You get to choose your language and screen size then play the movie. No extras or anything

The two disc is supposed to be released in November. I definitely won't be wasting my money on this crappy dvd, wait for the special edition

Heh - I only saw it at the cinema a couple of weeks ago. That film is AMAZING. I loved 'the Farm' idea and that someone so geeky looking could be so cool. Gives us hope does that
