Single Player Maps?

Hey,

Sorry if I am overstepping my bounds by asking this...but...I have looked around a bit for some resources with regard to getting into making some single player maps. I haven't had much luck finding anything for a complete newb.

So does anyone have any advice for someone that has never done this before...but wants to get into it? Maybe some resources that dumb everything down a bit

The full SDK has not been release yet, until that time we don't officially have access to singleplayer content, on the other hand .vmf files are human readable and if you had some idea of what you were doing you could probably change entities to allow for some singleplayer work, but it isn't easy.

Do you think it would be easier (for a beginner) to wait until the full source comes out?

Wait until the full source comes out, thats what I'm doing. In the meantime, read all the documentation you can, and download some tutorial videos that show you what to do.
