Yes. A Strider. I realize that its not very good, but it only took about 10 minutes. The legs are messed up, and it doesn't look much like a Strider, but... I tried. I'm going to try to do something else tonight.

I'll be posting my sketches in here, and I'll try to do one every day. I want to sketch and draw much more often, so It'd be great if you guys yelled at me if I miss a day. Also, my digital camera sucks, and I'll have to install my scanner. If a mod has a problem with this, that's fine. Sorry in advance if it is a problem.

I only ask for no flaming, and for as much constructive critisism as possible. And you all know the difference between flaming and critisism.
Flaming: "This sucks"
Critisism: "This sucks because..."

Looks fine as far as I can tell. Maybe the rear leg is a bit wobbly? It could perhaps use some more detail too.

The shading is quite good, and it's overall a fine depiction of a strider with no noteworthy flaws whatsoever. Good work! :thumbs:

Thanks a lot, Mecha. I wasn't sure where to place the third leg, tried about 4 times and then just threw it in. And I should've added more detail. I'm going to work on something else now, though. A headcrab

I updated the picture to a scanned version. Much better quality.

You've got a good talent, I like the shading.
If you want crits, the proportion could use fixing up, and again, more detail.

A headcrab. Wish I didn't shade the background now, because it took away from the drawing a little. I'm not sure about how much time it took me, I was doing other things while drawing. Probably should add more detail. And I think I over-shade sometimes...

It's good apart from the end of the head up front, looks like it's like a V (From the toppoint view, so to say). Meh, it's still good!

Hehe, okay. This one is my favorite so far, but I can't take too much credit for it... the face and basic outline was based on a screenshot. (I like to be a little imaginative, so I tried to redeem myself by doing the arms and chest from my head) Hehe, and CrazyHarij, is this big enough? Too big for the legs(although that was semi-intentional) The hands are a little messed up and the right arm (his left) is all wobbly and broken, but before I changed anything (and ruin it) I figured I'd post it

Figure I'll add my other stuff in here while I'm at it. Couldn't scan any of these so its crappy quality. They are all projects for my art class last year.

Self-Portrait. I like it a lot, won third prize in something or other. Heh. One of the eyes is missaligned, though.

Agent Smith. You can't tell from the picture, but there are 16,000 characters (supposed to be from the Matrix, but I kinda made my own) that make up this portrait of Agent Smith. It was another project for school, and no, it wasn't required to make characters, but some sort of design that makes a portrait of someone. Its about 4 feet by 2 1/2 or so. One of my favorite pieces of art

Melting Scissors. Project for my class; we were told to draw a pair of scissors that were melted and then frozen. I got done early so I just made a bunch more. Heh.

Thanks. Yeah, the strider doesn't have much detail and it is very small. And that hind leg is messin' with me. Heh.

The Self-Portrait is so very very nice. I'm impressed.

If only you could do a fullbody with added realistic sword, pouch-and-belt, and all the other attachments such as amulets and headbands.

Oh, and I don't remember the combine having the russian-style outfit...?
