well... it seems as if im on another night where sleep is a problem... i know its probably not healthy to stay up late all the time but for some reason, browsing these forums is more interesting to me than sleep... And i have a class tomorrow (not until 2:30pm) but i still dont want to goto bed.

I just feel wide awake EVERY NIGHT when i get into bed and just sit there and watch tv for 2 hours before i fall asleep... usually its longer than that. i dont know if its insomnia or just that i figure ill sleep when im dead. at least then ill have a full nights rest.

Well no-one knows if death is anything like sleeping. Personally, I have the same problem, which is fine for me at the moment, no school or anything, I just have arkward sleep patterns for the moment, ie, sleep 3pm-6pm one day, sleep 8pm-11pm the next, I only seem to need 3 hours sleep at a time. I do often have huge, half to three-quarter day sleeping sessions though, which are great. :D
It probably ISNT healthy, but I havent noticed any changes. Ill most likely change to a more suitable pattern when Im back at school. Guess I just need to be tired out.

same thing with me

im not sure how this started but its been a problem for me for years... well, i dont know if i would consider it a problem because i enjoy being up this late chatting and discussing issues with people. i wish i could be paid to moderate a forum, i would sit there all day and be happy!!!

another problem is this late at night, TV goes from bad to worse and i am bombarded by Jamster commercials while i sleep.. i blame jamster for my insomnia!! damn you and your annoying ringtones!!! :flame:

Do you take naps in the afternoon?

no never... today i took a 1 hour nap cuz i passed out while watching TV. usually though when i take naps, im so disoriented afterwards that i try not to nap during the day anymore. it throws me off.

Yes Jamster needs to be nuked thoroughly.

Don't forget to text 184tf to get the sexy Jennifer! Stupid cell phone toting idiots. "Look at my celly background! Aren't I the coolest thing ever? Hang on while I glue the phone to the side of my face." <--Actual quote. Just kidding

Same thing for me too, no matter how early I tried to sleep, I will stay awake on my bed for 2-3 hours before finally sleeping it off :|

well at least all of us late nighters can hang out together on the forums!!! normally, my buddies would be here till like 1 or 2 in the morn but as u know from my not smoking thread, i dont see them too much anymore... now im just by myself awake all night... sall right with me but it just seems like i should be sleepy now... just weird

They said if you play games before going to sleep, you'll stay awake because of the excitement, like watching a movie, I suppose :|

True. Few people can come back to tell us. Plenty of people have had the near death experiences. What to make of these is hard to know. Some people say its just an oxygen starved brain dreaming. Others say that the people meet angels or the devil or jesus or whoever. Who to believe - hard to know.

Kerry Packer (one of the richest Australians - I think Rupert Murdoch beats him though) was dead for 10 minutes, and incredibly had no brain damage (or no noticeable damage) and has been fine ever since. Paul Hogan did a joke where he said that Kerry Packer told the Grim Reaper 'You get out of here!' and the Grim Reaper left. But Kerry said, there was no Jesus, white light or anything else. Just black, and then awake again. There was nothing....as he said in his words. Of course this is just one man's experience.

ya i wonder if that is true for browsing internet forums? sometimes the excitement on these forums is too much to handle. *sarcasm*

but really... sleeping sucks... usually at night ill do something to take my mind off going to bed, which i dread doing, and then i decide ill just stay up all night but usually end up crashing at like 5 or 6 in the morning and then sleep through the whole day and feel crappy the next day because my neighbors come home from work when i wake up... just a depressing feeling

Funny how people kept talking about that "seeing a white light" stuff. :|
