Well, Ever since i got a new power supply, and a gig of ram, my computer has been running slow after only a few minutes of playing. at first, it runs excellent, then as i progress through, i start to slow down, but once i either restart, or go through a complete new load, (presuming it dumps out all the info on the ram) it runs perfectly fine again, then slows down after a few minutes of playing. This happens mostly when i advance, and more info build up on the ram, but it happens quicker than it did before i got the extra ram, it used to take hours for the slowdowns to take effect, but now, its about 10-20 minutes for the same effect to take place. anyone know a reason?

If you got a new power suppley it has to be the same numer of volts as the last one. check your old power suppley and then check the new one.

What is your system spec boss?

Take out the new RAM you have just purchased, play and observe performance. Put back new RAM into mobo, take out new PSU, play and observe.
Its either mismatched RAM and or Inferior/defective PSU. Check you cooling system too try downloading CPU Z utility software here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php for narrowing it down.
Test memory here: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

well, first, my specs are 2.2 ghz pentium 4, 1.25 ghz of ram, 9800 pro.

heh i was going to say something, but i decided not to. a problem arose, barney, i do not have a floppy with me, seems i lost them all =/
so i tried to use a cd rom, but i have forgotten the button which starts the computer with the cd drive.
