Hey

Me and a couple of friends have started making a proper cartoon animation series, we have nearly have a fully script for the pilot episode and currently have the charters profiles and concept. We also have a website that streams Tv shows and they are willing to host our pilot. We are animating that cartoon like they do in futurama and we have all the programmes. Our episodes we are hoping to be about 20-25 mins long. We are currently looking for some good 3d modelers they can use any programme just as long as they can export as .3ds file. We don't really want to give out the script online but if you are intrested you can email me and add me at [email protected]

Sounds good, hope you succeed. Will the entire show be 3D or just parts?

permission from the stream site yea we have, an most of it will be like 3d/cell shaded

what programs are you using to animate? or will you combine computer with hand drawn?

were using concept as like the skeleton then draw over wiv Flash then export to Swift 3d and then make other bits in 4d Cinema but were looking for a good 3d modeler so they can take the basic of the 3d models we got an make them better

sounds complicated ..good luck getting flash to do complex animations ..not the best tool for traditional style animation

try toon-boom studio

http://www.toonboom.com/

there's a trial version

oh and swiftfx is very basic ..better for text than anything else

we not animating in flash we draw in flash to get the outlines and 3d render and animation in swift since u can add skeltons to the meshs and animate easily

Cheers for link

Maybe you should learn the English language before writing scripts for a cartoon.

EDIT: Says me, spelling scripts wrong.

what are you talking about im from england so if you come here just to say something just to seem like u know something then you can get lost

Toon boom only looks gd for 2d animation can u 3d animate in it

well going by your description it sounded like you wanted to do it in the style of futurama ..which is 2d mixed with 3d ..all of the character animations are 2d ..only some of the backgrounds/props are 3d

true but i was goin for all of it in 3d sorry if didnt make clear lol thnks for help anyways im having a play in Toon Boom anyways just to see if its anygood

"if it's any good? ...it's used professionally in many animation studios, it's definately good
