Two things are right around the corner, you're probably skeptical of both releases. The HL2 SDK and LGW's new website. If HL2's SDK does stick to Valve's word and gets itself released within a few weeks, dont be surprised if LGW tries to nail the same day as the SDK release with our new site release.

Here are some things you can take a look at to make the wait go by a little faster. So, thank us for the whole 30 seconds we speed up by looking at these. You can see a new version of our Remagen Bridge map prop, as well as the Springfield '03/A4 Sniper Rifle, followed by a stielhandgranate; which is a grenade for those who don't know.

Some other new things in the news here at LGW:
-We're helping a talented young programmer, Ronan Hayes develop a small standalone education WW2 game set in normandy using models and content that will also be seen in LGW once LGW is done for HL2.
-We've decided to go foward with our plans to open up the LGW Merchandise store with coffee mugs, apparel, and everyone's favorite: T-Shirts.
-We've seen fit to increase our numbers, we're now hiring the following positions:

-Concept Artists; Concept Artist, mainly the following.

-Be able to look at multiple refs and photos of maps/battle locations and be able to get your bearings to draw either top-down (God/Sim City view) views of the maps, or completely top views (like a blueprint layout). You dont necessarily need to draw any upclose shots of the maps.

-You need to be able to draw rough storyboards (these sorts of things: http://www.planetmooncentral.com/planetmoon/coolbits/storyboard/storyboards.jpg)
under a director's guide for the singleplayer.
-Net programmers; not webmasters, but people who help LGW talk with our servers for the best online gameplay possible
-C++ Programmers; Thorough Experience in C++ is a must requirement, preferred to have a background in the Half Life SDK, or be willing to demonstrate capabilities on the Source Engine when the SDK is released
-UVW Mapper - you must be able to uvw unwrap 3d Models so that they may be skinned.

Thats all folks, keep an eye out for the HL2 SDK, and LGW's New Website.
