SNAFU with Enviro.Suit

All the usual stuff: My computer is MORE than capable of playing the game. All drivers are updated and all spy ware/virus/bullshit ad naseum are taken care. Steam up and running, all updates in, A OK, good to go. So I'm in Kliners lab and trying to get in the damn environment suit. In HL1 all I had to do was run into it, but that isn't happening here. DRAT! I've restarted the level from scratch but no joy, I can't get into that damn suit. All other switches work and I don't wanna run cheats from the ` key/counsel. Any ideas appreciated...

Reinstall the game? I don't know, I aint good on things like these. Sorry.

if you've already typed sv_Cheats 1 and impulse 101 in, you get the suit, and cannot progress any further because you are unable to pick up 2 suits.

Other than that, have glass doors surrounding the suit been opened?

Ahi, carumba!Drat shat and overholt, yr. correct, and now it's back to square one (all I wanted was the damn crowbar.....)

Yeah... all you need for the crowbar is "sv_cheats 1" and "give weapon_crowbar" .
