I hate wireless. I spent like $70 on my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer Wireless, and I stopped using it because it was a battery hog. I was going through new batteries every week.

Now I use some $20 logitech optical mouse, works great.

One word: Rechargable. I've got a charger right next to me with four batteries on it, and two in my mouse. Every week I swap them out. I've always got charged batteries, and I never throw out a single one.

LOL

My friend had tie it to the tabe. Few times he forgot it in the refrigerator, few times he didn't realize and "used" it as remote TV control. I even once mistook it for a my MoPhO and took it home.

Well right there you're describing what I like to call "hassle", plus that mouse seemed kind of laggy.

I've had no problems with my Logitech optical.

lol, that's a hassle? It takes about five seconds, I just do it while something is loading or I'm waiting to respawn in a game.

i would HATE to swap out batteries in my mouse. household appliances should absolutely not need batteries.

having to put batteries in a household appliance is crazy! just as crazy as having to put fuel in a car.. oh wait..

Mouse has to have its tail. :p
Tailless just feels delayed and slow + heavy and I would go nuts if the battery would run out (today there's rechargeable mouses though, just dock it for a night).

Logitech MX-Duo

best wireless combo ever ;)

the batteries in the MX700 last for a week without recharging, you just have to place it on its stand for it to recharge (no swapping batteries) overnight, and its charged

then theres the wireless keyboard which is even better (batteries havent worn out after 3 months)

i dont personally use it for gaming, but it's great on the work pc

This is great but unfourtunet its not wireless. The best chioce is Microsoft Wireless Explorer Optical Mouse (USB). please check this site for the best mice ever.

I've got the mx700, it's quite good, but really heavy.

I remember someone saying there's really a weight in the mouse, is it true?

I have a 4 years WS Compaq mouse.

Perfect to play games and never failed with me ! One of the best things that happened was to got this mouse.

Ive got an MX 300, i love it. But its starting to wear out... i can already see the pits in the buttons are starting to form 0.o. Computer gamers are like athletes, but instead of going thru many pairs of shoes a year we go thru many mice...

True to that lol. I have a bucket full of old batteries. Although now I use a ballmouse, that collects dust like a vacuum cleaner. I hate it.

Ive had a boomslang for awhile, a lot of people have had problems with theirs but I havent.

Pah, luxuries for morons! Give me a 2-button, one rollwheel microsoft mouse and I'll whup the arse of any pansy-razor boomslang owner. You need some stern grit and determination, not a 2100dpi, extra weighted, arse-wiping, perfume-smelling chunk of plastic!

*Takes bow* :hmph:
