I think we are all hyped, but do you also have some massive expectations for HL2?

Myself, I've managed to squish down all the expectations I once had. I'm still hyped that it's coming out, yet oddly, I have no expectations for it.

anyone else like that? the peopel I've chatted with online think it's a massive contradiction.

Keeping my expectations reasonable. OK, I expect a good story with some plot twists (I'm sure it will be the case), a few good actions bits (will be the case) and I want some parts to be creepy (from looking at Ravenholm bink, I'm pretty sure that will be the case, too).

I think that way I'm not going to be disapointed b/c *list random feature once mentioned as a possibility in an obscure e-mail fired off to some rabid fanboy at 3 am* isn't in the final game. Nonetheless I expect greatness.
