Ya the one where the sensitivity is insane.
or the one where every time your in a menu your mouse feels like it has 2000 pounds behind it.

Im trying to replay the game and it seriously unplayable at this stat.

I found that turning off V-Sync helped the mouse controls.

I'm also running the game on a slighty lower resolution than I really should be. (1200x960 I think - something similar :p )

My mouse has sensitivity changing buttons on it, so for the menu and hacking I'd use one sensitivity and for game I'd use another.

Not an option for everyone I know, but it did work pretty well.

I have the same option on my mouse but of all things they dont work in BioShock?

Turning off vsync didnt do anything already tryed that.

Im at 1680 res and really not planning on turning it down.

That's odd, my Logitech G7 sensitivity buttons have always worked fine. Unless I set them to do something else of course.

I'm afraid after trying everything possible to alleviate this issue, that it's simply not possible, at least by conventional or accessible means. The game was ported from the 360 version, and they did next to nothing to optimize the controls for mouse+keyboard. I found that disabling mouse acceleration, via a fairly complex registry fix, helped the issues slightly but they're far from gone. If you have a 360 pad, I suggest using that instead to bypass any annoyances.

Yeah, it's really awful. I just turned the sensitivity all the way down and got used to it eventually. 2K Games screwed PC fans over phenomenally with BioShock; the control issues, the DRM, the late demo, and the 30fps physics, among other things. My memories of the game aren't nearly as fond as they could be.

Oh God I'd forgotten about the physics. I'm definitely gonna pick this up on PS3 then, so I can experience the game issue-free.

I thought the mouse was just fine personally? Maybe slightly too sensitive when playing as Jack, but nothing enough to make me care to change it.

In menu's like while hacking stuff, it moves insane slow and unresponsive but ingame its like 100 sensitivity.

Weird, mine was just fine. Did you update it?
