So hows the snow been so far?

GREAT if you ask me, this week there was INSANE amounts of powder snow in the alps, it was orgasmic, i had a hardon all the way down the slopes. There has to be some ski/snowboard fanatics in these forums!! Tell me how the season has been so far, any footage/picture/stories to share?

I dont have a camera but i tried to take some photos with my cellphone which actually didnt turn out so bad considering the conditions.

****, I hate you. I wish I lived near the Alps. I'm a skiing fanatic but I live in a city with a ski hill that has a vertical drop of about twenty feet. The only good skiing I get is when I go to Quebec for March Break.

The snow's been rather crap here.

It snows a lot and then it rains like crazy for the next 2 days creating tons of ice and slush.

Well seeing as its currently Summer here in Australia I can't really compare with you.. But we have been getting more rain then we have in like three years so I think we might be starting to get out of our drought
When it is winter I have to travel 7 hours just to see snow lol.

Heh, yeah I remember my classmates would organize a trip to go from Sydney to the Snowy Mountains.

As for Canada, the snow has been fantastic, but broken up a few times by rain

i hate snow. Snow should only remain in the mountains and ski resorts, not in big cities. Driving in snow and ice is the most annoying thing. The constant disgusting slush and salt on and in your car makes me sick.

Winter ****ing sucks. I dont know why this years winter is so ridiculous. I remember last year we had a very good winter, barely any snow, the temperatures stayed a constant 0 to -2 celsius which i consider pleasant. I remember one day in january last year (and this year i beleive) it went all the way up to 15 C.

No snow here. We had a bit last week, i think it was, or the week before that. I thought it would last a while, but it was gone later the next day. i don't think we're gonna get any more snow now.

It hasn't been snowing much here this winter. My commute is an hour long, so I couldn't be happier. Actually, if it was warm and sunny, I'd be a lot happier. Freaking winter.

Man I hate Virginia.

Not an ounce of accumulation where I live yet, and it was 70 degrees 3 days ago.

Although we're about to start taking fridays off due to lack of snowdays at my school.
