So, I bought CZ and I installed it. I went to go play, and it asked me to put in my CD-Key. I typed in what was exactly on the case, a box came up saying "The CD-Key you entered is invalid."! I bought the game from Comp USA for $40, and now I can't play because the CD-Key on the CD case is invalid?! Someone help. :hmph:

hmm you are probably reading it wrong, make sure the letters are right like for example a V could look like a U, and a O can look like a 0, etc etc.

Yay! Someone with some sense. CZ isn't just for CS:S beta, it's worth it on its own. Although $40 is a bit steep

Odd, my CD key worked just fine. And I got an "Asia Pacific" edition off eBay. Are you ABSOLUTELY sure you typed it in right?

wrong cd key or not you can always return it and exchange it for another copy.

my friend lost his cd key for a copy of half-life he bought and i think valve has some type of thing where you can send the game in for a new one too.

Yeah the sticker with the cdkey is a bit small, the numbers & letters are hard to read. Keep trying, there hasn't been a precendent for this situation so I'm sure the key should work.

Ray, Key-gens dont work! The chance of getting a valid key are slim to none. Second, don't use a key-gen, just get off your butt and explain to compusa(or do the easy thing and just order it from steam instead)
