SO... i didnt know where to post this

some of you might think this is a stupid question but... When i try to upload animated gifs that i made in Macromedia flash on to my Myspace, they dont work, but when i grab some random animated gif off the web and upload it, it works just fine. Dont suppose any one knows why this is?

Sure. Don't use a program designed to make FLASH files for making GIF files. Easy.

but it works just fine. makeing them any way, its as easy as make in the flash its self. if i can do it, i should work. The fact that a gif off the net and the gif on my HD are of the same file, shouldnt they work?

You gotta do more checking.
Does it work in any browser(Opera, Firefox, or IE).

Anyway they are not the same file. If one works and the other doesn't, then obviously the file format is different. While they may have the same extension(gif), the acutal bytes in the file are laid out in a different format.

hah, yea, that would not work at all
