and the true I felt kind of uneasy

it was like being hit in the head very hard

I am not saying I didnt liked it,I like it a lot but the true but it was more scary

cuz the true hat future dont seem so impossible to me after considering everything, from things you see on internet videos to things you see in person

honestly is one of the most scariest movies I have ever seen

if someone come near me holding the movie I will run away screaming

The idea of future generations of society inbreeding and becoming utter morons is sadly looking very realistic at this time. Some how I did manage to watch this entire movie, but not without cringing throughout and kicking myself in the head when the pain became unbearable.

Moved to the film forum.

I rented this on DVD since I loved Office Space, but I couldn't bring myself to watch it.

I don't see why people bash the film, it's damn enjoyable.

I watched about 3/4 of it before I had to turn it off. I did skip to the ending though. Horrible film. This and The Da Vinci Code are the only two films I've stopped watching part-way through.

Its not as good as Office Space (but what is), but it's reasonable enough, though it's laid on a little too thick at times.

BRAWNDO!
ITS GOT ELECTROLYTES!!!!!!!

Stupid caps filter. :|

I find the concept of idiocracy to be quite unfeasible at this point in time, unlike Munro. With ever enlarging populations and people moving here and there constantly, I don't see inbreeding as a widespread problem ever anymore.

This movie should have been animated. As it was, it came off kind of like a B-Movie.

It had some funny moments, but it was greatly disappointing and could have benefited from the charm of animation.

I feel asleep towards the end, but ended up finishing it, and never watching it again.

I guess more relevant to the topic, the movie was based around the fact that people were breeding for attractiveness, and ignoring all else in favor. Intelligence of humans ended up very low in the not-so distant future.

I don't see it getting like this. Almost all of the attractive people I've met are quite intelligent.

I enjoyed it, not all that amazing but it was a fine film

That wasn't the point at all. The point is that stupid people don't care about how many kids they pop out, they just keep producing.

How many upper class families do you know with more than 2 or 3 kids? How many lower class families do you know with 5 or more?

The problem isn't inbreeding, it's genetic drift. I am, however, confident that intelligence is, as an average, on the rise.

I lol'd hard at "burrito covers". The rest of the film was decent to cringe-worthy.

Ah, that's right.

It's not necessarily "stupid" people who breed more, just poor. As I see it, there is no link between poverty and genetically stupid people. I mean, take your dumbest people today and compare them to Greek scientists- all basic knowledge that we take for granted today was unheard to them.

If you're going to blame something, blame the 19th century educational establishments we Americans call schools and colleges. I'd bank more money on an impoverished handy man to fix practical problems than some 3.0 gpa community college drop out.

Can I hear lol for Butt-****ers, anyone?
