Well, someone else did. But thats not the point.

When I bought my brother's computer, he told me the DVD drive didn't work. So we bought another one. Bought it a week ago yesterday from Misco.

We (My "step-dad") wrang up yesterday asking them why its not turned up, and they said it was out of stock. Nothing on the Misco site told us it was out of stock. They told us it would arrive today (which it hasnt). Also, yesterday, my step-dad looked at his emails and had one from Misco and they said their not sure when its going to turn up. So he wrang up again, and they said it should arrive today, and it didnt.

They don't deliver on Saturday or Sunday, Monday is Bank Holiday, so I guess I have to wait till Tuesday...

I'm depressed.
/wrists.

bank holidays only effect banks if you didnt know that lol.
monday is still a buisness day so they should still ship to you.

Thats why I have a school day off when ever it is Bank Holidays.

Bank Holidays just in the UK or other places in Europe? Ireland? That sucks though.
We don't have 'bank holidays' in the US like over there.

First thing you should have done once you found out about it was cancel the order. Talk to them on the phone preferably, or an email should be fine.

Tell them, if it's out of stock than you will look on their website for an alternate, then take your buisiness elsewhere. I would never do buisiness with them again after that. You just say you want to look over their website for a different one so they credit your money back without them trying to convince you to wait or something.

go with www.newegg.com or www.ClubIT.com or something.

I've bought stuff from both places and they had really fast delivery.

[to Virginia, USA]

Should be able to get a DVD burner for $20-$30 for your PC.
