I've got a PNY 6800 GT, and the temperature ALWAYS reads at 44. Never changes.

How do I go about fixing this? Is it even possible to fix?

Try updating drivers.. If that doesn't work, then I got nothing else for you..

Not an nVidia man myself, so I don't know about issues with certain drivers, but wasn't there a problem with the temp readout with a certain release of drivers, I think that they got it sorted. That could be your problem, although its only a guess. Do as shamrock suggested and update to the latest release from nVidia.

Guess, I'll just have to live a broken temp sensor.....oh well.....
