It disabled their norton and forced a system restore. At the moment all I can see is that it won't let norton update, scan, or do anything really. It's also causing a huge memory leak. I need to get this fixed today, so if anybody has any miracle solutions that I can drag onto it with a flash drive, they would be appreciated.

The memory leak is just Norton.

Clamwin Portable is something you can shove on a pendrive, and probably has a good enough detection rate.

All I can say is good luck.

Malware bytes is a decent program that can eliminate many common virus infections.

If that doesn't work you would have to move up to combofix which is a bit more complicated to use.

Thanks for the help, I got the norton scan to work, but now it made the computer think that it has a usb wireless adapter. I disabled the usb adapter and I can't access the net now. Also, this memory leak is bigger than norton. scvhost.exe is using 500 MB of memory.

Well, it seems to be running normally after the norton scan. It only found one thing though, which kind of worries me. I haven't run malwarebytes or clamwin yet, but I will as soon as I get a chance. Any way it could have been a registry error or something?
