But where is it? Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, this game has recieved almost no buzz at all. Weird, considering it's a pretty big title. I'm so looking forward to it, but I'm not sure about how it will run on my computer.

Hmm, friend told me it got delayed over here. Silly tard.

I've followed it a bit for a while. Not sure its really my type of game. I'll wait for my friend to get it and have a spin on his copy.

I pretty excited about it, especially with some of the black isle guys behind it. It says my copy shipped today so it should be here in a couple of days. I have been playing with the editor for a couple days now though and I am impressed with it.

Hell yeah I'm excitied. Don't know how I'm gonna be able to pay for this and FFXII though...

i was really excited about it but the last few months i've been a bit 'meh.'

i mean, nwn was awesome and nwn2 should be too but there just is no hype, at all.. just nothing, it's weird / scary. :(

What's NWN like? If it's what I'm thinking, I may have just figured out my birthday present.

Baldur's Gate basically. NWN 2 got a graphical uplift though. Looking real nice. And Chris Avellone (made Planescape: Torment) helped with the characters and story so I'm even more excitied.

You guys can buy it really soon over direct2drive :(

Hmm, didn't even know this was coming out soon, thought it was delayed.

Either way, this game isn't my cup of tea.

I'm going to have a fun time making modules. the outdoor module thing that isn't like the old one, has me most interested.

I hated interlocking outdoor pieces. I wanted fluidity and uniqueness in my design.

It'll probably have just as mediocre of gameplay as the first...
:<

Granted I loved the first one intensely... for about 2 days.

Neverwinter Nights is not that similar to Baldur's Gate. BG and its sequel had a much more involving singleplayer story with immersive characters and fantastic atmosphere. It was definately a well-focused single-player experience. NWN has a comparatively lacklustre singleplayer, but excells online in role-playing environments because of the immense number of user-made modules and solid gameplay.

I hope NWN2's singleplayer is more like Planescape: Torment or BG than the original's.

Going by the few reviews that are out the single-player is supposed to be much better this time around. I wouldn't except something on par with baulders gate, but probably something as good as kotor.

Hmm, I was going to save my money for Gothic 3, but NWN2 seems tempting. Ah, what the hell, I'll get both!

Anyway, I heard there was an emphasis on storyline, and an influence system that you can use to manipulate your party members. It sounds too good to pass up, being the storyline whore that I am.

I'm a big fan of DnD based computer games, so this is a must buy for me, I only hope it's worth buying even though I'm not particulary much of a MP person.:)

It's ready for download on Direct2Drive now.

Too bad I don't live in NA :(

My brother is pretty excited about this, the original neverwinter nights was one of his favourite games. So i shall most likely borrow it from him, or just sit down and watch him play it, and see what it's all about !

NWN2 ain't being done by the original team which is Bioware though is it? It's being done by Obsidian Entertainment I think.

And that's why it will be great. Black Isle>BioWare.

I'll be picking this up regardless of reviews, I loved NWN and consider myself and am a huge fan of the old Black Isle style games (BG, Icewind Dale, NWN) long live this genre! :)

People have gotten it in some countries, like Denmark.

No demo or anything right?

Neverwinter Nights was pretty dissapointing (besides MP of course!) so I don't know...

I'll have it tomorrow some time.
