Being how I get too excited about designing things, I almost posted this in Art and Design, but that would be getting off-topic.
Over the last few months between college and stuff I put together this site here:
http://qgn.cc/
Weird huh! What is it? Is it the website with the shortest domain name ever created? No! It's an HL2 mods and files index. I made Qgn after seeing the frothing mass of FPSBanana and halflife2.filefront.com (part of the FileFront Network). I built a ballyhooed HL2 site five years ago, and had fun, so when I saw those I was compelled build another one.
So what I decided to put together is a new place to post your HL2 editing projects. I guess you could just as well post your thing on a forum but a site organized specifically for maps, models, and so on, sounded useful to me. Right now there's not much on it and I'm looking for some knowledgeable editors to test and use it so I can see how I should implement accounts and files.
I have some ideas to make Qgn more interesting but I'm waiting for some feedback. Like I said above I get excited pushing pixels around and can sometimes forget functionality or purpose. Anyone looking for something like this??
