So what did you do/plan to do with your extra copy of HL2 & Ep1?

You didn't get HL2 & Ep1 for free when you bought Ep2, or did you? You can look at it that way, but the way I look at it, I would have been forced to pay for two games I already paid for if I wanted to own a copy of Ep2. I know I could have bought Ep2 for $30 on Steam, but I would have preferred to own a hard copy of the game. I do acknowledge, however, that those lucky few who didn't already own copies of HL2 & Ep1 got a damn good deal when they bought the Orange Box for $50. Anyway, this issue has been discussed to death and there is no point in dwelling on it.

Just wondering, what did you guys do/plan to do with your extra copy of HL2 & Ep1? Do you think you'll be able to sell it on Ebay? And if you plan to sell them, how much money do you expect to sell them for?

Selling those gifts is against the Steam user agreement. If you're discovered trying to sell them, your account will be disabled.

Haven't done anything with my gifts yet. Will find someone to give them to - it's not like the gifts are expiring anytime soon.

Just wondering why you "detest" HL2. Do you detest EP1 and 2 also? I would just assume that there's something in your past to make you hate it (bad experience with headcrabs), but I'd like to hear it from you.

Oh, back on topic, I'd love to give my copies away. I think I'll give them to my gf who isn't into games at all. She'll probably think the email is spam. Haha.

You can choose to send the gift via email, which gives them complete instructions on how to get steam and install it, My problem was that most of my friends already owned it, managed to find somone in the end though who had never played an FPS, which is entertaining.

I'm not much of MP, and most of my friends are so old; they either lost their reflex and the ability to concentrate and the rest are trying to kill themselves out of old age symptoms. So I just bought one copy of Episode 2 for 30 bucks and done with it.
I guess that's why I'm still performing better than my age, spending my time playing rather than hanging out at my local 6-7 PM All You Can Eat?
