So, what did you think of CS:Source?

Now some has pasted since the release of CS:Source nad here comes the first poll. *Only vote if you have played CS:Source* 1 is the worst and 10 is the best.

Just played a few rounds and I've got to say - Is this a joke?? I was never that crazy about CS to begin with and this is no improvement over the original, at least in terms of core gameplay. This may be great for some people, but to have this be the official MP for HL2 is ridiculous. I'll probably play this less than half a dozen times before I can't stand it any longer. What a waste. I mean really - it's embarassing. It's not even finished. I was being generous when I gave it a 4 in the poll.

Well i give it an 8, i'm enjoying it so far Sure its a very basic game with a basic premise but i think its a lot of fun.

I give it a 4, mainly as its nothing new (apart from new gfx and some destroyable things around the map.. But thats about it, same old CS, its a nice game, but its a totall JOKE as HL2's multiplayer.

8. It rocks for any CS fan. Can't deny that its not perfect, but CS has always been a work in progress. GFX aren't the greatest but still they're way up there. Best water ever, and theres an amazing amount of texture detail. Its good stuff.

It is, of course CounterStrike. It boggles the mind that people thought it was going to be something else. It never advertised itself to be anything but what its name implys.. CounterStrike on the Source engine.

For those of you that aren't stupid and expect new gameplay from CS:S, I'm sorry for my language. And I do agree some new eapons and other shit would be nice. But its CS. All we do is bitch about how we could improve cs, and everytime theres a change, they bitch that it sucks. Besides, its CS:S 1.0. Theres still alot to come.

All good so far, really enjoying CS:S - a lot smoother than the Dust Beta too which is a bonus.

The only real gripe at the moment is the 2 models, I was hoping for more, but I guess they will come in a future update just like CZ.

Office is by far the best map in my opinion

Its good when I get better computer because now processor sucks 1600+axp. I'm disappointed only to that thing that I'm not able to do a barricade from that italy flower house table like it was done in german cs:s movie.

Frankly, as a long time gamer coming in fresh to CS:S I was disappointed. CS:S is my first and only experience with the CS series. I only played on 3 maps last night but my initial take was disappointment.

CS:S seems to be more of a Source technology demonstrator (pretty textures, knock objects around) than a captivating gameplay experience. The gameplay I tend to enjoy is more of the Battlefield/COD experience to give you some perspective of what I'm comparing CS:S to.

I'll reserve final judgement until I've given CS:S a good try but for now, COD (I know its not quite like comparing apples to apples) is more fun. The gameplay of COD just seems more captivating and makes good use of vegetation cover and going prone to conceal yourself. The map designs of COD just seem more real and believable.

I only gave it 8 because of the unfinished feel- get me the rest of the player models and a few bits of tweaking and polishing here and there, and I'll be over the moon with it

Only thing keeping if from getting a 10 is when you bump into object they push you back. You cant stand on barrels etc.

its impressive.. yet an old game ported over.
if this poll was about a HL2 themed MP which happened to be just as impressive as CS:Source looks, then i'd probably give it a 9 even 10 perhaps
