Everyone suggesting this new 6600GT, it looks great, but the 128 bit is drawing me back, im downgrading that part of the card cause irght now my card is 256 bit..

can anyone help me out

Basically when you only have a 128 bit card (NOT 128MB of RAM), there's only half of the bandwith that a 256bit card has between the GPU and the ram.

Yeah, but the problem is that now they are differing in so many other areas one cant really tell what is good (pixel pipelines, memory type, not to mention gpu/memory speeds, etc). But half the bandwitdh is still the correct answer I suppose. I would advise against any 128bit card.

Yep.
The road from the graphics chip to the memory is twice as wide on cards with 256Bit memory.

well then why do so many suggest the 6600
