So where is Portal and Portal 2 in the timeline

its no secret that Portal is in the same universe as Half-Life..... so i was wondering, where does Portal and Portal 2 take place in the timeline, before HL 1, After HL2, between them, etc.??

does anyone know

Portal takes place sometime after Half-Life 1. GLaDOS takes control of the facility for the final time a few days before the Black Mesa Incident.

Portal 2 takes place an unspecified number of years after (at least a few decades) latter. It takes place after every other game, including Episode Two.

Portal takes place at the time of Gordon Freeman's stasis. The Combine have just taken over the planet and are using Earth's resources to fuel its vast empire.

Portal 2 takes place long after Eli Vance is killed in Episode Two. Every character in the Half-Life series is almost certainly dead by this time. However, Gordon Freeman might still be alive if the G-Man placed him into another period of sleep.
