I heard somwhere that the release of CSS would force Vivendi to Release HL2, or they would lose profits !!

Is that true !?

1: yes vivendi will lose profit on the release of css, but is wont force them to do anything.

2: Its silly to expect HL2 this month, I'd say the store dates are pretty solid.

but in my opinion it is safe to say that people will buy hl2 by the quickest means possible to them [broadband users] and as cs:s is combined with hl2 even at bronze level there is no reason why they ought to wait for a store release.

If however vivendi match the online release of css with a retail release for a similar price people will be more inclined to purchase a fully boxed, with manual, hl2
