Just got back from this movie, and wow...

I don't see how it got an R rating. It was hilarious, it you're not afraid of a little homosexuality. I don't think it was quite as good as Borat, but some of the situations he put people in were hilarious. I was cracking up when Ron Paul ran out of the hotel room yelling and calling Bruno a queer. Also watch out for the part when he's talking to a psychic, it's great.

i actually disliked Borat and i had a chance to see this with my friend today for free but its not my type of movie.

Probably watch this weekend. Hope people are not going to walk around for the next 2 months quoting Bruno, pissed me off with Borat.

Why would you hope for something impossible?

Well since I saw borat only once, I pretty much expect to see this movie once as well. So I can wait till its on DVD or TV. Either way this movie does not interest me, since all the jokes in the trailer were the equivalent of the tv show jackass. But ultimately I think this guys movies are a waste of time. All he really does is manipulate people with his acts, and I think that is a low form of art. He just says and do things to get people to react shockingly to stupid things. I think he's like a really annoying Andy Kaufman with not much depth.

The trailer made it look not very entertaining, but so did Borat's. Although I've never seen Borat.

Seeing it on sunday, can't wait. Quite enjoyed Borat, enjoyed it more for how stupid some people are in the face of what others might say but was disappointed it was a film I saw most of the gags in from the trailer. Hope Bruno is the same but I've stayed clear of trailers where I can, just in case.

If it's as retarded and shitty as Borat, probably not going to see it until I happen to come across it on TV one day.

In this topic, we all hate a popular and funny movie.

I saw borat and it wasnt terribly funny. No more than any "HURR AMERIKANS R DUM" threads that pop up here all the time.

And I would rather not see that mans hairy ass and balls for 1.5 hours, so i'll probably pass.

They are not hairy this time...I swear. ;)

Borat really wasn't all that critical of America. Sure, you had parts like at the rodeo where the guy was talking about hanging homosexuals and what have you, but other parts like the dinner scene with the couples showed them having remarkable tolerance for all the bizarre shit he pulled, right up until he crapped in a plastic bag.

i saw it, but i didnt think it was as funny as borat. he seemed to focus on the shock part instead of the humor part in this one.

Pretty much this. I thought the most interesting and funniest part of the film was the middle east segment. He's walking down the street in his "fashionable" orthodox jew outfit he's got on and then someone yells something at him and three men come running at him out of nowhere.

When he's interviewing one of the heads of Al-Aqsa, he tells him their king, Osama, looks like a dirty wizard.

I wish Sahsa Baren whatshisface would go back to doing UK TV comedy TBH.

Okay, I'm either watching Bruno or The Hangover tonight? Which one would you guys recommend?

Bruno just doesn't have the same appeal to me as Borat does. Hmph.

I've seen both and go see Bruno, despite what you think of Bruno as a movie some parts will have you crying tears of laughter, the hangover simply provides a few giggles.

I thought Bruno was going to be real funny and it totally was not.

Like it had some funny parts, but it was too dirty that it almost made it un-enjoyable. The long gay sex scenes for example, pretty dumb and boring.

I did love the black baby parts but that was about it.

I thought it was pretty hilarious, particularly the varieties of redneck homophobe rage on display. If Borat was over the line though, Bruno blew past it going 200mph.

Saw it the other day, thought it was great. The ''interview'' with Harrison Ford was the best.

Just saw it and i thought it was meh. Didn't enjoy it as much as Borat i only laughed a few times with Bruno. One thing i did find surprising was the amount of parents bringing their kids to watch it. I was in the 18 certificated showing and there was loads of parents with young kids, yet towards the end of the film half the audience had left.

Couldn't get tickets for Ice Age 3 or Harry Potter maybe.

It was okay not as good as borat. It was in some places just too disgusting to enjoy watching.

Oh god I lol'd so hard at that part. Probably the best part that they didn't tease in the commercials.

I quite liked it. Not a great comedy but nowhere near one of the worst I've seen either. It did have some very funny bits, as well as going for some of the obvious laughs.

I thought it was great fun. A good movie to watch during the day before hitting the pub.
