Soap propaganda!

my mam was watching Corronation street on the tely and I was reading a book. Then there was then a big discussion on the show about taxes, nothing to do with the story of the show. It was simply propaganda, what the hell?! i didn't realise the UK was turning into America Land (the place where all American steriotypes come true!)
