I'm looking into a new motherboard formy 3800+ x2 that supports DDR800 ram. I've been looking all over newegg.com but can't seem to find any motherboards there that support both socket 939 and DDR 800, does anybody have any suggestions on where to find one and which one to get. Or, if I should hold out untill the new ATI cards come out incase there would be something special for them.

Thanks in advance.

AMD has the memory controller built into the CPU for faster access. But you need to change sockets to change memory types.
Socket 939 = DDR
Socket AM2 = DDR2

So you would need a Socket AM2 motherboard and CPU to get DDR2 800 memory.
FYI anything over DDR400 (talking about regular DDR) is not offical and you would most likely have to OC to use at it's rated speed.

highest memory you can get for a mainboard is ddr 550 any higher then its ddr2.
