Socket AM2 Benchmarks with DDR2

I don't think anyone has posted about AMD's new socket with DDR2 800 support.

Would be a good platform if you are buying new. Lot of memory bandwidth. I wonder when AMD's quad core CPUs will come out (next year?). That memory bandwidth would come in handy.

Here is a TechReport review with both ATI and Nvidia's chipsets for the new AM2 socket.
Nvidia's power consumption is a bit high there for just a chipset. :x

Also AMD now has Energy Efficent CPUs.

Opteron quad cores will be released first. Imagine buying a dual or quad socket board and buying quad core cpus...that's 8 or 16 cores in a system. :O
