Looks like it should be fun, as you'd expect from a Howard adaptation.

I expect HP Lovecraftesque macrabe, I expect chanting religious whacko shooting at the undead with his flintlock while clutching the cross dangling around his neck. I'm afraid instead I'll get Van Helsing ...still havent seen it ...is it Van Helsing?

I like James Purefoy, he was excellent as Mark Anthony in the HBO/BBC Rome series. Good to see him making the jump to a lead man role. Can't say I'm familiar with Solomon Kane as a character, but it looks quite promising from the trailer, plus Pete Postlethwaite (where has he been hiding?).

I am worried about that too after seeing the trailer, but the silliness of VH is nowhere to be found, so that definitely helps. Fingers crossed for this one.
