SOLUTION to AUDIO PROBLEM

it's a simple solution i've dealt with many games that involves audio stuttering etc. just set ur video mode from full screen to windowed mode. whenever an audio stutter projects, the game will re-adjust and resume the game. works great for me, i'm sure it will work for u guys also. you can also leave everything on high settings video and sound if wanted, good luck.

why the hell would you want to run it windowed? and being in windowed mode, doesn't it slow the game down, because it has to load the desktop?

Where do you set this option? Playing in windowed mode gotta suck?

actually i do notice that i load faster in windowed mode than fullscreen lol. you can change the option in the game. start half life2, options, video, toggle fullscreen to windowed. and no it doesn not slow the game down. give it a try
