I sign on to AIM. I am bombarded with a message from some loser named CALShane11. Here is the convo:
CALShane11 (5:57:29 PM): hello
dl0ck13 (5:57:53 PM): hi?
CALShane11 (5:58:21 PM): is you name wishbone on a cal-open team named super heros fan club
dl0ck13 (5:58:25 PM): yes
CALShane11 (5:58:33 PM): you were disputed
dl0ck13 (5:58:58 PM): what do you mean
CALShane11 (5:59:16 PM): so i need your steam account and pw 2 check if were cheating
dl0ck13 (5:59:29 PM): oh ok let me get right on that
dl0ck13 (5:59:37 PM): NOT
dl0ck13 (5:59:43 PM): dont ****ing try and scam me
dl0ck13 (6:00:00 PM): fag i hope you rot in hell

Then I blocked him. :)
 
that guys a reall idiot if he thinks someone would do it. but if they did i would slap them

Way to show him. Its a shame that there is not a lot IT companies can proactively do to prevent fraud. But in the end, these losers will one day get their head kicked in and their eyes gouged out, with the fingers bit off.....:frown:

Doesn't that mean that it's someone who was browsing/ is part of the CAL forums? Bit of investigation might find something out.

If you could get his IP, you could have admins do comparasions with the suspects.

Did you guys ever seen the forum page, where some guy comes an insults Honda cars (it was a honda fan site ) so the forums guys track his ass down, at the end they found his real name, adress, number, social security number, bank acount, familly, etc etc. They even called the guy to scare him. Priceless.
