Hi, I just got this new motherboard a Biostar M7NCD-A04 (nForce chipset). When I installed it yesterday, it read my harddrive but it said there was a harddisk problem- to check the cable.
Believing it was this, i decided to swap my DVD and Harddrive cables to the others IDE slot. Turning on the system, it now says:
JCMOS checksum error - default loaded
Thats when my computer does nothing, I try to press delete to go to the bios setting, but my mouse and keyboard are not responding (no lights on my keyboard or my optical), and yet they are both firmly slotted in the back of the computer.
If anybody has had this problem before, or has a similar motherboard to me, please reply
