I dont like this anime stuff. It gives you a big handycap when you are trying to do art by starting with anime. it gives you overexadurated proportions and made up muscles. It is a really bad way to start if you want to get good.

I myself started with the hard stuff.. doing studies of my dad when he is asleep on the couch. and learning the diffrent muscles by studying anatomy books and making studies from p0rn

The eyes (which is the most important thing) doesnt look very anime/manga-ish. I could upload some drawings i made but i dont have a scanner :/
