Some opinions

Howdy y'all.

In need of a new computer (minus monitor, sub and speakers), I've decided to research a few websites (largely thanks to this thread: http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=49097) to find a solid and [as possible as] future proof machine.

My searching has eventually narrowed my options down to this one:

An online comparison of the video cards yielded these results:

I believe the first system to be the best choice, and even though the second system is cheaper, the best value.

So, if you had the choice, which one? Also, if you're in the U.K and have had past dealings with either websites, your opinion will be greatly valued.

The first link is not working mate. The 1650Pro in that second rig will struggle to run a lot of modern games on high settings, and will only struggle more as the year goes on. So if you are looking for something slightly more future proof in that respect, you might want a faster graphics card than that.

Aye, I wasn't so sure about the ATi rig, sort of a last generation card nowadays. Thanks anyhow.

Yes I'd have gone with the first rig for sure. Looks nice except the case.

Hmm, I think it's one of the very best looking cases I've ever seen (PC #1), but it's hard to tell from a thumnail. What kind of case is that. I like the clean and simple, contemporary look.

Nice lads, thanks. I agree about #1, it's just because the second rig was on sale I had to show it. :E

Komplett looks like a reputable site, so I think I'll go for that one. Not too bothered about it coming with vista either.

The case reminds me of the classic black Lian Li cases.
