In case anyone missed it (and apparently they did) this isn't yet another debate over whether Shiavo should have been kept alive or not. This is a completely different issue.

And no, I won't let it go.

Now, to make that issue even more explicit. How does a group of people justify trying to legislate AGAINST something they just finished declaring to be the will of their own God?

Anyone want to take a guess at that one?
 
It's so stupid, because next time around, it could be the parents who want the person to be allowed to die, and the spouse that won't let go. So what is the purpose of some goofy law giving the parents more say?

Because they are trying to deal with the death of thier daughter. Have you tried that ? So they have to in your opinion justify thier grief ? Legislate is what Congress does I think you mean they file a Lawsuit of one type or another. I woulod hope they sue the **** who would not even let them in the room when thier "THIER" daughter was passing on. When you have kids you 'might' understand.

She's been "passing on" for 15 years. And the bullpocky story about Michael keeping them out of the room is more hokum. Michael and the Shindlers take turns visiting her because they don't want to be in the same room at the same time. No one knew the exact moment she would die.
