How do I make that when a player enters a level he cant move (untill I allow it), he sees black that fades into the bright picture of the room, or how to force a player to lay down and wake up like in the beginning when Alyx rescues one.
How do you disable player from doing anything except looking straight like in some of the background maps. Too bad I cant look into one of Valve's maps to see how this is done. I guess it's a question of setting up scripted sequences, but how?
 
Thanks. I made now that when a player enters a map he sees a dark room(while located else where) and then the lights go on, and there he sees... :)
After 20 seconds the player regains his view and control and can start the mission. :thumbs:
