great job.you did the best job for now :) you've uploaded the biggest amount of new screens :) from CS:S You deserve rest, i mean go and play :)
 
ah well, that was me the cc is just for cyber cafes .. don't wanna log into my account there .. tried it b4 and couldn't log off so I chose to create a temp account (sorry mods)

anyway, I don't know the specs reall .. but it can play HL1 games perfectly smooth (better than my 2.2Ghz & G4 Ti4200) but again they don't have much runing in the background.

the game was laggy to be honest ..
The first server was laggy I would get killed before I see my killer coming and shooting me ..

The second server I joined was less laggy and I managed to kill quite a few people ..

Physics lag the game a bit .. not always (I guess it depends on the server too).

The flash effect is cool and If I'm not mistaken you hear a death beep when a flash goes .. it's actually not a death beep, it's like the beep you hear when a nade explodes near you (in hl2) We hered it in the e3 2004.

Wepoan models are cool (lol I don't know what descriptive words to use) like the Machine gun for example feels like a real machine gun not some fat piece of metal shaking in your hands.

the knife model is the same from cs 1.6 I think.

The sky is sorta 3d .. when you go in it there are both 2d and 3d objects .. there is some 3d landscape (very little) but you can still see a 2d skybox.

hmm .. what else is there?

connection to server takes a long time .. specially the "retriving server information" phase.

changing display modes doesn't seem to work right.

when you record a demo and play it back you start the round half burried in the ground .. but then somehow you get fixed up.

neway I can't go play no more I'm home now.

but .. in the CC when I was uploding the screens my time ran out but I asked to extend for like 5 mins ..
It actually took me 15 mins but the nice guy didn't charge me for it :D
 
Hey hassan, did the game look better in real-time as compared to the shots?
 
yeah .. ofcourse it was better.

I don't know why the shots are low quality like this. But anyway I didn't mess with them, this is how CS:S recorded them.

but man .. rofl some screen shots are stupid like .. when I was reporting some bugs :/ must clean them o_o
 
hasan how was the sound and voice in game? Weapon sounds good and ambient sounds in dust? Oh and how is the bomb defuse? Do you have to crack the code or something?
 
That last screen is hilarious, although it doesn't look like the guy took one in the head, looks more like he took one in the gut or groin.
 
lol .. I don't remember seeing that particular frame when I took the picture .. but when you see it in action it's pretty cool.

tbh I'm not s ound guy .. I didn't turn the sound very loud cuz you know it's a cafe and all. There were no headphones so I dunno (I should've probably took some headphones from home)

I didn't defuse the bomb but I wouldn't think there is a secret code. It seems to me like normal.
 
ok thanks. I just thought i heard somewhere that CTs have to do some code breaking thing instead of just holding down e. I think it should be a little bit more challenging. Like lock picking in Splinter Cell.
 
well I don't really know since I didn't defuse a bomb. that's just my speculation based on what we saw in the CS:S demo at E3 and well .. there just wasn't anything to even suggest people had to unlock some code.

Hasan , did u find the physics usefull? did u use them for stragety? wwas the physics realistic? . Did u shoot dead bodies on the ground and is the reaction from the body cool? also what is ur nationalty? just curios.......thanX

it's after the explosion.

well there are really no tactical uses for phyiscs .. but they are still cool.

you can shoot dead bodies, wepoans, objects, barrels and everything and they would react .. it's very cool.
but other than being cool, they are pretty much useless in the tactical sense of the game.

says "freeman .. " then something meaningless (either that or I don't know what it means .. which I doubt .. or it could be whoever wrote it didn't know what he was doing)
anyway .. it's literally saying "freeman, enja bood!" or "enga bode" or whatever
 
wow these look great i cant wait to go play tommorow, do i have to be spme sort of a member to play? and does any have any specs on the system they played at the cafes or asked them what they were runnin in there systems,because i know alot of cafes dont have that great of hardware am i wrong
