Some sigs

over the last couple days I had the strangest urge to make some forum signatures. No reason why other than just to do it. there all made in Gimp.

A older one. I like it so I'm including it.

How does the explosion (in the top right corner) look? had alot of trouble making it look decent (atleast to me.)

a real quick one, probably took me 10 minutes tops. Hope the text isn't too dark (it's fine on my moniter.) *edit* I might change the bottom text to make it look like it's moving aswell.

No offence, but like most other sigs posted on this forum they're mainly garish, glaring, ugly and text-hard-to-read-y.

ie. totally clashing colours, no rhyme or reason to the composition (it seems like) and text is either hard to read because the colour mingles witht he background (eg last one) or annoying to read because the colour clashes weirdly (eg first two).

In that case, I would also add that signitures are best when long and thin, since that takes up less space (I detest image sigs. DETEST! RARGH! SULK SMASH! ).

The commie redhead chicks one would be made about twice as much better if the background was all snowy grey-white rather than going to a rather awkward snot-green. It would get about twice as good again with a different font, methinks.

Not a fan of image sigs as well. But i dont mind good ones. These really dont appeal to me.

I like the idea of the Nintendo one, but maybe some better text would make it more appealing.
