Can you tell me if this is any good? I really need a new speaker system and a sound card. I play my Christmas gift, LoTR: RoTK, and I got crackily sound, or no sound at all. So, said screw this it is time for an upgrade. Here are my three eye catchers:

I really don't want to go for $100 on the Audigy 2. I would much rather go for $70 on the Audigy LS.

The soundcards are truly exellent! I have the older version Audigy 2 and it rox... LS are surely great aswell so just get that :)

Im not sure about the speakers however they seem too cheap.. I guess it depends on the demand...

I wish I could help you but I'v spent all my time looking at the more expensive stuff (even though i don't have any money). If I was you I would save up for longer and get the audigy 2 zs along with the T7700 speakers, if you have a small room don't worry about them being 7.1, I have a small room and thats what I plan on getting (when I have a job).

Take a look at Tomshardware.com they have reviews on a load of speakers and sound cards, which seems to be the only hardware there not biased on.

I really want as cheap as can get. I think I might go with the LS and the speakers I don't know yet.

Well... there is a sound card on on sale at Best Buy for $30 this week. It is a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Surround.

No don't get that I have one of them and it is really really old. Whatever you do get a audigy 2 which on ebuyer.com can be baught for £30.
