lol even i don't know the answer to that one :S i can't even see the error in there ... maybe a corrupt save file ... have you tried restarting the chapter ?

she should walk in the elevator and press it for u i think other ppl have fixed it by starting the chapter over

Hmm, weird, i have never seen this error before, by the looks of it, it shouldn't affect the game in anyway at all apart from it not actually auto-saving i think, "We need a HL2 doctor in the room ASAP people!!!"

well prob. the only other way to prob. fix it is to go to the save where u defeat the heli and go from there

well last resort is delete the whole hl2 folder but keep the hl2 saves and reinstall the game

Nope, there is others Giant. You could use the cheats to go to the beginning of the chapter. Also, try walking all the way into the elevator.

I know exactly how to fix your problem. Buy the game! and it's kinda obvious because the hl2 folder isn't located at C:\Program Files\half-life2\hl2. It should be in a steam folder/steam username. If you really wanna play it right you might as well buy it.

yo bro i buy it and is original from i buy and play it just that problem i hav an elevator and i dont use cheat , is it any problem when i instaled there (c:\program..) i mean effecting some thing .. ?

I had the same prob. I solved it by saving the game when it chash, then I restartet the game og loaded the saved file! She then starts talking and walking again!! Hopes it helpes you to....!

This usually happens with a warez version of the game which is why he said buy it. If he would provide us with a picture of him using the aux power bar at the start we could establish if this is a real copy, then tell him how to fix it, the situation looks like a warez one. Its common.

If not restart the chapter, or noclip to another part to start the trigger for another scene. Honestly some of the suggestions above are crazy, some members here have no idea!
