Hi everyone,

I have installed CS:CZ on my shiny new PC. It installed fine, and my PC has a 128MB graphics card, and tons of memory, so the spec is fine.

However, when i try to load up a server game, or even just the one player CZ game, it cuts out mid-loading, and exits the game completely, returning to my windows screen.

Please please please can someone suggest what the problem might be, or even better, suggest a sloution?! I would be beyond gratuity! Please can someone help.. :-)

many many thanks in advance!

Si

New PC you say? Do other games work? You could be overheating or need a stronger power supply, but I doubt it since your card probably isn't power hungry, but exactly what is the name of the video card?

Thanks very much for your reply.

Yes brand new, and not tried any other games yet..

The video card is: "128MB DDR FX-5500" and elsewhere is labelled a "128MB nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200" (the former is on the actual computer invoice, the latter was written on the PC spec on the website - should be the same but sounds different?! either/both should work shouldnt they? i run CZ on my laptop which has a 32mb card, so i just presumed itd be fine on my pc.

The processor on the new one is an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ just in case that helps too.

Any ideas would be again much appreciated! Thanks!

Are you using any custom textures, weapons, or player models?

Erm..not as far as im aware! So i guess not.. Havent got it running properly yet to change much.. Any ideas? (thanks though!)
