Specs are:
Intel Pentium 4 1.7Ghz
Geforce FX 5200
512MB Ram
550W Power Supply
80 hard drive
Realtek AC 97 Audio

If u think u can help, leave a message!!...lol, Thanks...

yep i validated , im doing it agian, this will be my second time haha, and i was just playing, when it gives me this error, and i click ok to terminate, i also see a picture behind it of where i once was, say like in dust where i was fighting someone or got flashed lol...then back to desktop, lol, the only thing i havent tried from that one site is this, and i dont know how to do it either

a. Relax the memory timing some motherboards have "conservative" timing or you can manually increase CAS and increase prefetch. If CAS is set to 2.0 increase it to 2.5. If Prefetch is set to 6, increase it to 7 or higher (up to 11).

b. Slightly increase the memory core voltage if your motherboard supports this option, consult your motherboard manual. Raising the voltage will effectively speed up the memory, but will also increase the heat.

Firstly the article says run it with one memory module first to check if this is your problem, do this before you even THINK about touching any settings in your bios!

-Messing with your timings and voltages is a risky business-

first off you will need to know your mobo make and model, and possibly what bios are on it(tho if you know the model, then the manufacturers webby will likely have all the details, updates and manuals that you will need). From there you will need to do some research yourself, before you actually start playing with the settings in your bios.

The major problem is that adjusting these settings can be really bad for your computer, you could get it wrong, or your comp just might not handle it..
That is ofcourse, if your bios are even open to such tweaking..
Plus there's the fact that a lot of other settings are in the bios, and if you accidentally change something, dont realise or dont remember.....well lets just say a memory referencing error in css might be the least of your worries!

Tips for bios tweaking: BE CAREFUL, RESEARCH EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY, BE SYSTEMATIC(dont rush in like a bull and change everything at once!- small steps and write down your original settings!), AND BE VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL!

Ok, now if you want to continue this course of action check this link for some advice off those in the know (you'd be best getting all the info about your mobo and bios first from the manufacturers website)

But dont blame me if you screw your computer up:E

(ask yourself the question: Is it really worth it, given that it might not even help?)

and good luck if you decide to go ahead with it- from personal experiance, I can say it's very satisfying to learn these things and be able to put them into practice, but my situation was different- it was my first self build and no one was going to do it for me, even if they wanted to!

no i dont wanna do that, lol, ne ways i keep getting this error..........its pissing me off tho i dont know what else to do, meh, screw it, since this is the only game that gives me this problem i guess im gonnabe playing others then till THEY fix this problem, cause i bet ne money its on their side...lol ne ways, thanks for the help i guess...lol

I used to get this error on my Lower-End system, had it for a couple of weeks then it just went away on its own lol ....

well i dunno i was on lastnight till like 2:30, 3 am and then i started seeing light out and i was still playing and no error...

Did you already try re-installing the game? And if you're running on a Windows system, how long ago has it been since your hard drive was last formatted? I get stuff like that when my windows registry gets too big and messy.

Windows has some weird issues with memory and the registry.
