Something about this makes me so happy

Wow. Soothing as hell with the sound on, especially the rain ones.

Awesome.

I wonder if someone painstakingly drew every little single pixel on there or did it by some other method.

Haha, "drew every pixel." Like someone was sat there with a pen, filling it perfectly square 1x1 spots by hand.

That's not funny. Big chins don't make you deaf. Silly Dekstar.

I spent about 15 minutes watching those, cycling through them. No sound, but they're still awesome.

Speaking of which, do you happen to know how I can find the vote thread for the vegeshoops?

These are all really cool, but I don't really get what the difference between 'blend' and 'standard' is.

Standard is where the palette colour goes from one to the next. Blend will create imaginary colours between the two to make it look smoother.

I assume.

Also, I just discovered hovering over the palette highlights the colour. Awesome.

lol dekky.

Nah, these were definitely 'downsampled' in some way from a higher quality image, especially because of the animation.

It's in me sig, ya bastard!

Well, the entry thread is. Was there even a vote thread?

This would be shittons better with higher quality image and sound. Still cool.

Reminds me of this site, kinda. http://www.rainymood.com/

I like to listen to it with my headphones on in the middle of the night. Really calming.

I think that kind of defeats the purpose... you mean a larger image? You can click the "max" button to match the size of your browser window, but then it loses some definition.

Personally I think it looks very reminiscent of background art in old adventure games, so I think the quality is spot on (actually it'd still be higher def than those).

I keep feeling like I'm back on my Acorn watching those.
