Ok so it's like this, I wanted to skin a model. So after I converted the Vtf's to TGA's. And when I went on PhotoShop to skin and customize the tga files. It said that it the program does not use that specific documentation, eg: tga. I was wondering, why cant I open up tga files with PhotoShop, but others can? Cuz' people told me that AdobePhotoShop is good for skinning for garry's mod or just skinning. But why doesn't mine recognize tga files?

what version of photoshop? and are you sure it's photoshop and not photoshop essentials

By converting, do you mean converting as in using VTFedit or just renaming them?

Photoshop opens TGAs.

No, it's Adobe PhotoShop 5.0.


And I didn't use the VTFedit thing.

VTF2GA, it allows you to convert VTF's into TGA's and use them for photoshop.
