It has been pretty boring after finishing max payne 2 couple times and fooling around with its first person mod. Searching on internet for new pc games, most of them don't excite me that much. And yestoday, WOW, I found this one, Chaos Legion.

When I played the demo, i thought that Chaos Legion was just so so and that the moves and fights are too monotonous. However I realize that I'm wrong once after I get my hands on the fullversion copy. Man, the game rocks, you can make new moves, new attacks, new strategies, new legions......I don't know how to describe Chaos Legion. It's kinda like "Japanese style with europeen gothics setting action rpg". Well this one is made for Pc and Ps2, the graphics won't be as good as those in hl2, but the gameplay is excellent. Give it a try if you have nothing to play before hl2 comes out.

Here some screenshots, check it out yourself.

So anything new on half life 2 ???

Despite you including HL2 in the topic, I'm afriad it's still not a discussion about HL2 :p Moved to OT

Thanks for the find though, I'll look into it.

I've got Broken Sword 3 arriving tomorrow.

u know, it's been pretty boring in the general dicussion section, i just try to find something to entertain everyone.

Broken Sword 3 looks like a great adventure, but sometime i have an impression that i have been playing too much American games, sometime it's good to play something exotic.
If you have gamespot account, you can watch this movies of Chaos Legion. I bet you will like it after watching the videos.

I know, and we do appreciate it, it's just that the general discussion forum is for general discussion of HL2 only :(

I'll set em to download, off out now so I'll opinionate later on. (Is that a word??)

I would advise playing Gothic II in the meantime... I do :)
Its lovely. Just lovely. Best RPG to date (even with the usual quirks every game have). Although its not hardcore RPG... More like an Adventure-RGP or something. And it looks DAMN good, even with its low poly meshes... The world looks 10 times better than Morrowind! Morrowind is lifeless in comparison.

I advise carrying a torch at night, especially if you happen to be in a very dark forrest :)

I think I'll pass on this one. Not really my kinda' game anyways.

I am getting The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Dues Ex Invisible War.

some one told me sands of time was really good, i cant remember who though.

Call of duty is a lunchtime snack of a game, much like MP2. If they were expansion packs people would be bitching about how short they both are. I sure hope Deus Ex lasts a good deal longer.

COD is easy to mod, and the multiplayer is quite fun out of the box...expect some nice maps and new game modes once the SDK is released (in a week or so).

I used to play CS for several hours a day until 1.6...now i can't stand it and i feel sh*tty about the whole thing...COD has replaced CS for me...though i don't play it nearly as much as i used to play CS.

i think what makes me quit playing faster is that i hate some of the maps...i hated some of the CS maps as well (especially some of the dumb custom ones) but i could always find a server that had a good map rotation...seems most COD servers just run all the maps.

anyway, yes, the single player was short, but intense....i wanted more of each level...i know i wouldn't have minded a campaign where you just go through the day to day battles along a front.

it's a good game though and it has tons of potential for multiplayer and player-created single player campaigns.

a chat with the devs on IRC:
http://www.callofduty.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4191

i dunno if that's the right chat, but one of the chats talks about how they're going to implement a bf1942-style capture the flag and respawn there type game mode...sounds awesome to me.

they just need to give the multiplayer the hugeness factor that the single player had...bigger levels with more places to go...especially considering you can easily have 64-player servers.

i been playing xcom: aftermath.. so very very good worth getting if you liked the origanals
