Its about that RPC worm thinger, I got the patch auto before I could be infected but now I tryed to get onto a program but it said one of my ports was busy (not 135 or whatever) so I started closing shit and it still didn't work, so I then closed stuff through task manager and I closed up some stuff called "svchost" there was 4 of them and when I closed the last it gave me that RPC thinger and my comp was going to shut down, does this mean I have the virus?

I already checked for the msblaster.exe and I never got any results, doesnt look like I have the executable but it still fuxxored?

Anybody know what this could be?

First of all, you do have Windows XP or Windows 2000 right? And second if you do, then yeah you probably have it. I think Mcafee made this but it's a program that detects and removes the virus for free.
Clicky Clicky
And also, before you remove it, make sure you update Windows or your computer will keep going in a crash loop every time you boot.

No, it only crashed once I exited that one task, it doesn't restart even if I have my firewall off.

but thanks for that stinger thing, im running now.

yeah the svchost are Linked to the rpc thing, i found this out when i had the blaster worm, when those go down, thats what causes that message to appear an shut down your computer, so dont end those. as for the port busy thing, i have no idea

everyone has svchost.exe, its not a virus. if you close that process, your interent is ****ed till restart

Guys, if you don't know what your talking about, don't give advice.

The only person here who was correct was Desolate. It's to do with the windows OS and sometimes several can load up. It's harmless.

The only things related to this virus that will be in task manager are as follows:

msblast.exe
root32.exe
penis32.exe
