Well for most CS players you know how many times people have been left with just 1 health point? well not any more because CS Source is on the case...

heres the solution... Flashbangs/ smokegrenades and frag grenades (before they go off of course) if you throw any of these into an enemy player you take off one hp and get a splatter of blood :afro: i think thats pretty fly and im looking forward to my first Flashbang/Smoke GRenade kill ;)

what icon goes with the death? Is it concidered a nade kill or a suicide kill?

This is cool.

Well, ive been damaged by a barrel from an explosion, and in the console it said "Damage taken by: World - 20hp". So i would think a nad ein the air is a world item as well.

i havent found that out yet... hard work getting someone down to 3 2 or 1 hp when trying :)

Well i think a flash grenade should take off about 5hp imo if it is really near to you, but in real like you can hold a smoke grenade in your hand and let it off and it doesnt hurt so i dont think that one should count at all.

its jsut on the impact of it hitting your body... if a smoke grenade hit you in the face it would hurt so it should count maybe make them 3 damage tho

What if you threw it at your face really hard? :p

Actually it makes sense for the FB since it's also a concussion grenade.

Just for the record, flashbangs can be lethal at close range. There have been several instances of persons being killed by them. Remember, they still use an explosive, and the reuseable parts can fly around at great velocity.

This is not a criticism, just a statement that either way they go would be feasible. They are primarily designed to help avert deaths, but the chance is still present. hehe.

Hey, airbags have been known to kill babies, so I suppose a few flashbang incidents are okay.

Frankly, if I'm using a flashbang on someone, I don't really expect them to have a high life expectancy anyways. :) Granted, a lot of institutions use them to avoid death, but I think the other way is more efficient.

I mean, if it's to the point where we have folks with automatic rifles/SMG's and flashbangs, it's really kind of assumed that the person(s) getting flashbanged need shot. hehe.
