England, 1982. William is a young boy forbidden by his strict religious mother to watch any television at all, but when he sees First Blood, his imagination is captured. Together with local devil-child Lee Carter, he embarks on the creation of a sequel - a home movie called 'Son of Rambow'. As production continues, attracting the attention of parents, religious nutjobs and an uber-cool french exchange student, the project begins to spiral out of their control! From the people who brought you Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy comes this highly entertaining paean to childhood, violence, family, the 1980s, and the power of imagination. Why would I want to see this then? Only good things about that film were the Vogons and Marvin.

I saw the trailer for this when I saw... Rambo, I think it was. Heh. Anyway, I thought it looked alright but I'll probably catch it on TV later down the line or something.

I sort of liked parts of the radio show better than the books, for the way the story was always slightly different in each one, but yeah, that's pretty much right.
